He is survived by: his wife Ardith Polen; his children, James Wier (Yvonne) of Avella, David Wier of Avella and Ramona Wier of Avella; his brothers, Clarence Jessie Wier (Gladys) of Sharpsburg and Clifford Wier (Louvella) of Avella; his grandchild Aeryn Wier of Avella; and his sister Virginia Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
