He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry John and Mary Kathryn Carnegie Houpt; his wife Barbara Claire Naab; his children, Sharon DePaoli (Alan) of Cecil, Michael Houpt (Leslie) of Allison Park, Mark Houpt (Sherri) of Canonsburg, Cheryl Houpt of Burgettstown, Jennifer Houpt (Mike Sciullo) of Washington and Aaron Houpt (Erin) of Mars; his grandchildren, Joseph, Antonio DePaoli, Samuel, Anna Houpt, Jacob, Joshua, Jillian, Jase Houpt, Brandon Dawson, Dylan Medlan, Peyton, Taylor, Marshall, Addyson Burt and Griffin Houpt; his siblings, Thomas Houpt (Rebecca), Samuel Houpt (Mary), Edward Houpt, Vincent Houpt (Diane), Joseph Houpt (Teresa), Mary Carol Baier, Regina Marie Riegler (Karl), Mary Catherine Houpt, Mary Ann Weyand (Dennis), Mary Patricia Capelli (Thomas), Mary Christine Dragun, Mary Margaret Nickl and Frederick Houpt; and his brother-in-law Joseph Baier.
