It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Weiss Jr. (Avella, Pennsylvania), born in Fredericktown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Weiss, Sr. and Gladys DeWitt Weiss; and his wife Carole Mae Lewis. He is survived by: his children, Glenn Weiss of Avella, Gary Weiss (Joyce) of Canonsburg, Dianne Sanner (Jett) of Avella, Michael Weiss (Judy) of Avella, Scott Weiss (Paula) of Avella and Douglas Weiss (Laurie) of Washington; his sister Pamela Byers; his grandchildren, Lisa, Bryan, Christopher, Danielle, Matthew, Nicole, Jared, Cassandra and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Levi, Bree, Rylee, Sophia, Olivia and Arabella; and his siblings, Marie Bandel and Warren D. Weiss.
