He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sylawa and Bertha Sylawa (Prusinowski); his wife Mildred L. Ignatovich; and his siblings, Josephine Burat, Isabel Haines, Bernice Sylawa, John Sylawa and Watson Sylawa.
He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Parsons (Leonard) of Newark, DE; his stepdaughters, Phylis Delia of Williamstown, NJ, Jane Byers of Philadelphia and Christine DeMarco of Arizona; and his friends, Joe and Kathy Lehman of Austin.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association, 823 Fillmore Avenue, Erie, PA 16506.
