It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bessie C. Layton of Aultman, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arley Shaffer and Lillian Markel Shaffer; her husband Ronald H. Layton; and her siblings, Jack, Charles, Bob, Tom, Doris, Sara and Anna Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Fisher (Michael) of Aultman, Melissa Yount (Michael) of Aultman and Nathan Woods (Erica) of Shelocta; her stepson Scott Woods of Oregon; her siblings, Jane Gordish, Betty McKerricher, Linda Dawson and Harry Shaffer, Sr.; her grandchildren, Don Fisher, Jr., Melissa Kline, Ashley Layton, Michael Yount, Alaina Yount, Natalie Woods, Ethan Woods and Nicholas Woods; and her great grandchildren, Paige, Maverick, Maddox, Sophia and Audrey. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
