He was predeceased by: his parents, John Firely and Nelly Firely; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his siblings, Dolly and Robert; his wife Margaret Abbey; and his children, Laura Miscioscia (Joseph), John "Marty" (Holly), Monica Firely, David (Stacy), Stephen and Gregory (Krista). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in John's memory may be made to Ancora Spero, horse therapy for abused or medically fragile children on Freedom Acres Farm in Perkiomenville http://www.ancoraspero.org.
