He was predeceased by: his father Ernest E. Gruber; his daughter Eileen; and his siblings, Harry, Carol and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Mary G. Gruber; his daughter Annamarie Genther (Mark A'Brial); his nephew William Daywalt (Jennifer); and his niece Cheryl Verofsky (Frank Vertrulli).
