It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Shope of Audubon, Pennsylvania, born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 24, 2022, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Joseph Connor. He is survived by: his parents, Donald Shope and Mary Anne Shope (Connor); his grandparents, Donald, Evelyn Shope and Dolores Connor; his sisters, Elizabeth Howard (Matt), Katie Picciano (Nick) and Sara Shope; his nephew Hunter; and his niece Gwen. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He continued his work educating young adults at the YMCA, but that position was cut short by the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions can be made to Mountain Roots Outdoor Camp.
