He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald F. Hill and Mary Claire Hill. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia DiDonato (late Salvatore), Robert Hill (late Cheryl), Thomas Hill (Susie) and Linda Horning (Alan). He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and nine great nieces and nephews.

“Jim and I are extremely saddened to hear of Ed's passing. We will always remember his smile, his beating to his own drummer and the easy way he had about himself. Our love and support to all of his extended family. The attached picture is from a Christmas Eve long ago, when Greg, Mark & Ed came up to help Jim put some Christmas presents together, and well - there was some partying to do. I titled it "The Wild Bunch". We will miss you dearly, but will always remember you fondly.”
