With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Spare Griffith of Audubon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob G. Spare and J. Alverda Spare (Lightcap); her husband John B. Griffith, Sr.; and her siblings, J. Harvey Spare (Gladys), Marion Leister (Harry) and Elizabeth Roesler (Gordon).
She is survived by: her children, Jean McGeehan and John B. Griffith, Jr. (Donna); and her grandchildren, Rory (Elizabeth Bloch), Casey, Braden McGeehan, Bridget, Natalie, John B. Griffith, III, Matthew (Melinda) and Ryan Godec (Caitlin). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church, Audubon, PA in Dorothy's memory.
