He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Keefer and Louise Keefer; his close friend Dorothy Cappel; and his siblings, David Keefer and Carol Sterner.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Keefer and Scott Keefer (Tracy); his grandchildren, Timothy Newton, Angela Keller, Crystal Bixler, Ryan Cappel and Benjamin Cappel; his brother Robert Keefer; and also, Mary Herb (Mark), Jodi Lang and Dale Cappel (Cindy). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
