She was predeceased by: her parents, Selim Oakes and Helen Yale Oakes; her son Jim Hollister; her brothers, Gilbert Oakes, Sr. and Selim Oakes, Jr.; her children-in-law, Donna Hollister and John Fisher, Jr.; and her great grandchild Tye Hollister.
She is survived by: her children, Berton Hollister, Jr. of Auburn Center, Bonnie Fisher of Forkston, PA and Laurie Trible (Alan, Sr.) of Auburn Center; and her sister-in-law Zigred Johnson of Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandsons.
