He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline E. Cragen, (Bishop) and John W. Cragen, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Michelle A. Grigg, Diana M. Dankulich, John W. Cragen III of Auburn and Thomas D. Cragen of Auburn; and his sister Geraldine (George Vincent) of Orwigsburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
