He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peiffer and Agnes Peiffer (Lehman); and his siblings, Ethel Miller, Madeline Hanley, Gertrude Smith and Robert Peiffer.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Peiffer (Sowers); his son Timothy (Gretchen Peiffer) of Dover; his grandson Zachary Peiffer; and his cousin Harry (Dolores Fisher) of Myerstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
