He was predeceased by: his mother Susan Hutchinson (Nancarrow) of South Williamsport; his grandparents, George and Anna Mary Hutchinson; and his father-in-law Gerald P. Woltz. He is survived by: his father Gary Hutchinson; his wife Megan Hutchinson (Woltz); his children, Audrey Susan Hutchinson and Ryan Gerald Hutchinson; and his brother Matthew Hutchinson. He is also survived by his family including; coaching his children.
