He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hollister and Ruth Balliet; his son Jim Hollister; his siblings, Kenneth Hollister, Jr., David Hollister, Ruthann Fowler and Janice Mittelman; and his children-in-law, John Fisher, Jr. and Donna Hollister.
He is survived by: his children, Berton Hollister, Jr. of Meshoppen, PA, Laurie Trible, Sr. (Alan) of Meshoppen, PA and Bonnie Fisher of Forkston, PA; and his siblings, Madge, Alice, Sarah Gernell of Mehoopany, PA, Winston Hollister of Laceyville, PA and Sandra Carson of Massachusetts. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
