He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas and Josephine Thomas (Welsh); his sister Wanda Rhoades; his brother-in-law Gary Lyons; and his nephew Eric Ruhlman.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Katie" Best; his children, Holly Zimmer of Atlantic and Derek Thomas (Emily Cubbon) of Meadville; his sisters, Freda Ruhlman (Larry) of Atlantic and Diane Lyons of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Sarah, Jennings Zimmer, Parker and Cohen Thomas.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rose and Waid Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (12422 Conneaut Lake Rd, Conneaut Lake, PA 16316). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
