She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Anthony and Myrtle Peterson Anthony; her husband John K. Schmitt, Sr.; and her siblings, Frannie Reese, Joseph, Jr., Claire, Marlin, Gene Anthony, Verda Lasher, Wayne See and Daryl Hawk.
She is survived by: her children, Scott D. Schmitt (Tracey L.), Tammy A. Schmitt of Atlantic, John K. Schmitt, Jr. (Lynn) of Saegertown and Bea Estok (Bob) of Edinboro; her grandsons, Ryan S. Schmitt (Karissa) of Fort Carson, Springs of Colorado and Evan G. Schmitt (Casee) of Jamestown; her great grandchildren, Willow, Aiden, Carter, Claire and Kaleb; and her brother Bruce Dygert (Marjorie) of Conneaut Lake.
