He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Cotton and Dorothy Cotton; his sisters, Marjorie Hoffman and Sandra May Cotton; and his brother-in-law Thomas O'Malley.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine; his son Patrick; his daughter-in-law Amanda Cotton; his daughter Molly; his son-in-law Daniel Lorenzi; his grandchildren, Levi, Luca Cotton, Elijah and Madeline Lorenzi; his sister Thelma O'Malley; and his siblings-in-law, Kathleen, Dr. Edward Jones, Laura, David Rosenbloom, James and Mary Robbins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
