Sherrill Covey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherrill Covey of Athens, Pennsylvania, born in Sayre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 27, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Bortle and Alice Bortle (Hibbard); her husband Leonard P. Covey; her grandchildren, Randy S. Johnson and Erin Nicole Covey; and her brother Robert Duane Bortle.
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Deborah Covey), Twp, Brian (Sheila), Gary (Darlene Covey), Dean (Debbie Covey), Katherine (Francis Myers) and Roy (Patricia Covey); her siblings, Bernita Luckman, Donna Robinson, Gordon Alan Bortle, Ron Bortle, Sharon Morse-Bortle, Debra Toole (Bortle), Daniel Bortle, Alisa Paoletti (Bortle) and Tom Bortle; and her sister-in-law Jean Ann Dimock (Covey). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
