He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Simpson and Stefani Simpson; his siblings, David Simpson, Evelyn Carl, Clayton Simpson and Calvin Simpson; and his close friend Wanda Maxwell. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
