He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Brown and Gayle Abrams Brown; his stepfather Nelson Brown; and his sister Connie Reynolds. He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Durrand); his children, Adam (Carrie), Tracy Eisenbury (Bob) and David; and his siblings, Gerald, Bradley (Charlene), Rick (Char), Debra Hilton, Jon (Kathy), Jeffrey (Gaye), Nelson and Bonnie Gallagher (Auggie). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
