He was predeceased by: his parents, William Donald and Marjorie Louise Blauvelt (Fox); his grandson Aiden Blauvelt; his siblings, Richard Blauvelt and Kathie Keim; and his mother-in-law Marge Mayo.
He is survived by: his wife Terrie Mayo Blauvelt; his children, Rebecca Clark, Jessica Blauvelt (Jake Every), Shane Saxon (Liz) and Brian Saxon (Ang); his grandchildren, Dylan, Dominic, Jacob, Raelynne, Addison, McKenzie and Madelynne; his siblings, Donald Blauvelt (Val), Bill Blauvelt (Debbie), Barb Satterly and Carole Reeser; his father-in-law Earl Mayo (Jackie); his brothers-in-law, Earl Mayo, Jr. (Maureen), Jim "Doc" Mayo (Cindy), Steven Mayo, Jody Mayo (Christine Lopena) and David Mayo (Mary); and his pets, Saydee, Polly, Peanut and Sasha. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
The family will provide flowers, they request that memorial donations be made in Robert Blauvelt's name to the Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company, 150 Herrick Avenue, Sayre, PA 18840.
