With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Debra Wheeler (Athens, Pennsylvania), born in Elmira, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wheeler and Arlene Wheeler (Harris); her siblings, Linda Wheeler, Theresa Wheeler and Fred Wheeler Jr.; and her son-in-law Paul Cornish.
She is survived by: her children, Scott M. Heeman (Carlita) of Whitney Point, NY, George E. Heeman Jr. (Kimberly) of Honesdale, PA, Tammy R. Cornish of Barton, NY and Cherrie Heffron (Jeff) of Olyphant, PA; her grandchildren, Kyle, Kenneth, James Bachman, KrystalLynn Morris, Kayla Mosher, Matthew P., Kassity Cornish, Christian, Donovan, Ryan and Ember Heffron; and her brother Robert Wheeler (Buzz) of Lake Ariel, PA. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and friend and former spouse.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Mary can be sent to Allied Services Hospice Center in Scranton Pa or a local animal shelter of your choice.
