She was predeceased by: her father Charles M.; her husband Richard Swetland; and her brother David. She is survived by: her children, Charles "Ritch" (Connie Swetland), Milly (Bill Allen), Jane (George Lehman), Peggy (Giff Wolcott) and Steve (Linda Swetland); her grandchildren, Jon (Karin Allen), Kari (Jeff Stizer), Miranda (Mike Schrader), Nathan (Anna Swetland), Courtney, Zeb, Russell (Melinda Lehman), Theodore, Madeline, Tyler, Sierra and Asia; and her great grandchildren, Erica, Alysha, Alexa, Ava, Megan, Josie, Amy, Richard, Thomas, Rosi and Ashley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
