Leona M. VanDuzer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona M. VanDuzer of Athens, Pennsylvania, born in Rome, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 5, 2023 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona M. VanDuzer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Vanderpool and Florence MacIntire Vanderpool; her husband Chester VanDuzer, Sr.; her son LeRoy VanDuzer; her grandson Charles VanDuzer; and her siblings, Bessie Porter, Al Vanderpool, James Vanderpool, Enos Vanderpool, Viola Vanderpool and William Vanderpool.
She is survived by: her son Chester, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Pat VanDuzer; her grandchildren, Kimberly Mathews (Charles) and Chester VanDuzer III (Cindy); her great grandchildren, Samantha Hoyt (Austin), Charles Mathews (Autumn), Sadie Mathews, Dalton Mathews, Cody Mathews, Bryce Mathews, Hunter Mathews, Betheny VanDuzer, Eric VanDuzer and Sage DeHaas; her great great grandchildren, Brantley Gunnar and Winston Mathews; and her siblings, Verna Kinney, Rosemary Bartleson, Kathryn Stack, Glenn Vanderpool and Ernest Vanderpool. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
