It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaylee Lynn Place of Athens, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Todd Place (JT); and her grandparents, Leonard, Mary Lou Place, Rich Gowin and Robert Wheeler.
She is survived by: her mother Jessica Parker; her son Zeus James VanAlstine; her grandparents, Penny Zatkos (Walt) and George Parker (Laurie); her great-grandparents, Charlotte Wheeler and Helen Parker (George); her stepmother Marie Place; her siblings, Shyanne, Chasity Place, Adelynn and Aaron Bardell; and her stepsiblings, Wendy Pritchard (Rodney), Leighann, Randileigh Vanderpool, Kathy Streeter, Kasey Chapman (John) and Cassie Spencer. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home (217 York Ave, Towanda, PA 18848). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
