With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathy A. Carl of Athens, Pennsylvania, born in Poughkeepsie, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Pica; her brother Joseph Michael Pica; and her granddaughter Kendall Chavez. She is survived by: her mother Doris Pica of Waverly; her husband Robert Carl (Rob) of Athens; her children, David Bennett (Kim) of South Carolina and Michelle Chavez (Gino) of Maryland; her stepchildren, Andrew Carl (Chelsea) of State College, Chris Carl (Marcie) of State College and Nick Carl (Ann) of Denver; her siblings, Susan Pica (Keener) and James Pica; and her niece Emily Pica. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as well as 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
