He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Helen Knecht (Laudiero); his wife Bonnie Knecht (Dempsey) of Canton; his son John Knecht (Margaret); his grandchildren, Emily of East Canton and Wilson Knecht of East Canton; his father Wilson "Willy" Knecht; his sister Susan Strong (Stanley) of Canton; his nephew Aaron Lineberry; his great-nephews, Aaron Lineberry, Jr. of Wyalusing, Thomas Lineberry of Wyalusing and Jacob Lineberry of Wyalusing; and his aunt Maryann Masko (John) of Delaware.
