He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Schultz and Erma Schultz (Keir); and his siblings, John Schultz and Mary Faith Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Schultz (McEwen); his daughters, Megan Schultz (Justin Orcutt) of Athens, PA, Ashley Schultz of Pittsburgh, PA and Madison Schultz of Athens, PA; and his siblings, Judy Page (John) of Athens, PA, Jenny Schultz (Lynn Backus) of Virgil, NY, Joe Schultz (Jane) of Betterton, MD, Jim Schultz (Martha) of Athens, PA and Jeff Schultz (Laurie) of Port Alleghany, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
