She was predeceased by: her parents, Reid Brace and Paulene Brace (Card); her husband George Merrill; her son Duane Chapman; her daughter-in-law Carol Merrill; her sister Laura Francis Brace; and her niece Sandra Jane Hoffman.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Merrill of Litchfield, PA and Frank; her daughter-in-law Linda Merrill of Dunn, NC; her daughter Gail; her son-in-law David Arnold of Athens, PA; her son Alden Chapman (Bonnie Bailey) of Sayre, PA; and her grandchildren, Randy Merrill of Waverly, NY, Mandi Shelp of Winterville, NC, Lisa Moonen of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Chad Merrill of Jefferson, MD, Damon Arnold of Athens, PA, Rachel Arnold of Reading, PA, Dylan Arnold of Athens, PA, Chris Bailey of Athens, PA, Justin Bailey of Sayre, PA, Duane Chapman, Jr. and Natasha Chapman. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
