He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Sidney Cook and Marion Keyser Cook of Monroeton, Pennsylvania.; his grandson Derrick J. Robie; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Cook and Geneva Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Cook; his sons, Michael (Trinity) of South Carolina and Patrick (Cheryl) of Colorado; his stepchildren, Gregory Hughey (Jennifer) of Athens and Doreen Robie (Dale) of Savona; his grandchildren, Robert Cook, Kyle Cook, Dalton Robie (Alison), Mason Hughey, Amanda, Jennifer Cook, Kayla and Sophia Hughey; and his brother Dr. Thomas Cook of Fairfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
