He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Abbott and Ruth Brink Abbott; and his stepson Jerry. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl (Vivian) of Wysox, PA and Marian Yeckinevich (Edward) of Sayre, PA; his stepchildren, Judy Manchester of Centerville, PA and Gene Haight (Doreen) of Elmira, NY; his grandchildren, Jeff Haight, Lesha Haight Miller, Michael Haight, Rae Lynne Powell Quinn, Brett Powell, Matthew Manchester and Philip Haight; and his great grandchildren, Erica Powell Welch and Caitlyn Powell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in his memory may be made to the Ridgebury Sportsman's Club or to a charity of one's choice.
