It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E. Doheny (Athens, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 25, 2018, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Daniel and Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her siblings, Betty, Elsa and Ralph; her daughters, Anneliese and Laura (Callanan); her son-in-law Neil Callanan; and her granddaughter Lida Rose.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made in her honor to the ALS Association (321 Norristown Rd #260, Ambler PA 19002) or to the Spirit of Harmony Foundation (3536 N. Wilton Avenue, Chicago, IL 60657.) The family will receive visitors at Jay E. Lowery Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 225 South Main Street, Athens on Wednesday, May 30 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
