He was predeceased by: his parent Leatha Lantz Whiting; and his wife Joan A. Bennett Hinds. He is survived by: his children, Carson J. Hinds II (Jennifer) of Athens, PA and Shawn Hinds (Debbie Williams) of Waverly, NY; his grandchildren, Courtney Hinds and Carson J. Hinds III; and his siblings, Sue Horton (Gary) of Athens, PA and Warren Fuller of Elmira, NY. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
