William L. Vail Obituary
William Louis Vail, born April 4, 1964 went home on February 9, 2019. Billy was a 1982 graduate of St. James High School and was a lifetime member of the Alumni Association. He served in the United States Air Force where he graduated from the Defense Language Institute as an Arabic Linguist. Billy graduated from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology where he received degrees in Electronic Engineering and Computer Engineering Technology.
He is survived by his parents Bill andMaureen (Kennedy) Vail, his sisters Maureen (Steven) Mitchell, Pattie Anne Vail, and the loves of his life…Emmy Grace, Seamus Michael, his dogs and Rebeca Sue, his cat. He is also survived by his Aunts Betty Anne Egan, Nancy Kennedy, Marion Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, along with his Uncle Joe Egan and many cousins.
Billy was blessed with the gift of self-sacrifice. He dedicated his life by making so many people happy. He was Santa all year long. Never a Christmas went by without making sure a child would have a special gift or a widow or friend would not be lonely on a holiday without a special card. Multi-talented was Billy. Billy had a beautiful voice and a great sense of humor.
Also, he could be called the Jeopardy genius. He was a gifted artist who had possibilities. Best of all, he loved to tell jokes. Instead of flowers, he would have wanted any donation (s) be given to Toys for Tots and/or Wound Warriors/Disabled Vets. He would havewanted you to make someone's' life a little happier.Billy was that once in a lifetime person you would never forget.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Friday Feb. 15 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston where friends may call from 9 to 9:45 AM. Int. Private.
