We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, Joan E. Petticord of Aston, Pennsylvania, born in Chester, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Filiaggi and Elizabeth R. Filiaggi (Kendig); her husband Howard J. Petticord; and her brother James Filiaggi. She is survived by: her nephew Frank Saviski, Jr.; her children, Michele Shetter (Jeff), Kristen Alvanitakis (Steffin) and Michael Petticord (Rachel); her grandchildren, Jessica, Morgan, Ryane, Kylie, Brandon, Billy and Emma; her great grandchildren, Colton and Owen; and her sister Gail Mea.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd. (608 S Old Middletown Rd, Media, PA 19063). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery (4010 Concord Rd, Aston, PA 19014).
