He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; his sister Gabriella Marcella (Albert); and his parents, Angelo Perilli and Teresa Perilli. He is survived by: his children, Gabriella, Carmela (Robert Sr.) and Angelo (Kristen B.); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Silvia (Bill), Anthony, Bobby (Paula), Danielle (Teddy), Julia (Brandon), Andrew and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Gia, Gavin, Trista, William, Theo, Charlie, Harper and Oliver; and his siblings, Elvira (Pete) and Mario (Giuseppina).
