She was predeceased by: her parents, Tola Amson and Robert Amson. She is survived by: her sister Lilly Ruth Amson; her children, Ross Harrison (Mahnaz), Lee Harrison (Cindy) and Leslie Harrison (Greg Roody); her nephew Gary Kanel (Krista); her grandchildren, Arash Arabasadi (Ashley), Jason Funk (Amy), Samantha Miller, Hermine Harrison Höcker (Martin), Harrison, Nicole, Dylan Roody, Jonathan Harrison (Tara) and Rachael Harrison; her great grandchildren, Shane, Landon, Addison Funk, Anni, Levi Höcker, Amsen and Lulu Arabasadi; and her husband Roland.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Rodef Shalom Temple (4905 Fifth Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15213). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary's memory to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), continuing her lifelong commitment to justice and human rights, and/or the church of Pat Hickman, one of several of her loving caregivers: Manna From On High Ministries, 416 Franklin Street, East Pittsburgh, 15112.
