He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dr. Catherine Birk; his parents, Gerald L. Sr. Potter and Eleen Potter; his sister Janice Reschenthaler (Guy); and his nephews, Guy L. Reschenthaler and Dr. Grant Reschenthaler (Corinne).

Friends received Friday, February 19th from 4 p. m. to 8 p. m. at the WEDDELL-AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave. Aspinwall. masks and social distancing required.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 Linden St. Pittsburgh, PA 15110 or to Covenant House, P.O. Box 96708, Washington, D.C. 20090.
