He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael R. Wertz and Mary Wertz (Parker); and his sister Anita Kuhn. He is survived by: his wife Joyce R. Wertz (Rice); his children, Gregory Wertz (Elaine) of York Springs, Jeff Wertz (Jane) of Biglerville and Tina Fissel (Mike) of Fairfield; his grandsons, Jeremy Fissel (Renee) of Pittsburgh and Jared Fissel (Jessica) of Orrtanna; and his great grandchildren, Nolan Fissel and Gavin Fissel.
