It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Louise Shelleman of Aspers, Pennsylvania, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 10, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Fridinger and Mary Fridinger (Moser); her husband Edgar L. Shelleman, Sr.; and her children, Eurania Wetzel and Robert Shelleman.
She is survived by: her children, Victoria Martin-Knepper (Robert Kessler) of Chambersburg, PA, Edgar Shelleman, Jr. (Debbie) of Fayetteville, PA, Sharon Wampler (Dale) of Aspers, PA, John Shelleman (Katherine) of Cashtown, PA, George Shelleman (Karen) of Gettysburg, PA, Cheryl Farlow of Gettysburg, PA and Brian Shelleman, Sr. (Samantha) of Orrtanna, PA; and her children-in-law, Nancy Shelleman and Raymond Wetzel. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, because of the COVID 19 restrictions, will be held privately at the Monahan Funeral Home, however, the family will be gathering at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Chambersburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA for a graveside service at approximately 11:45 AM, Thursday, January 14, 2021, to which the public is welcome.
