She was predeceased by: her husband C. Eugene Chronister; her parents, Kermit E., Sr. and Blanche L. Heller (Swope); and her siblings, Wayne Heller, Clair Heller and Evelyn Dorsey.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce "JoJo" Hardy (George) of New Oxford, Larry Chronister (Diane) of Aspers and Betty Cease (Stephen) of Aspers; and her brother Kermit E. Heller, Jr. of Dillsburg. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that those wishing to honor Doris's memory consider a donation to the National Kidney Foundation, a cause close to her heart, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, New York 10016.
