He was predeceased by: his father Walter J. Schneider; and his brother Roger Schneider. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Schneider (Johnson); his children, Christopher Schneider of Sterling, VA and Ruby (Tyler Asper) of Aspers; and his grandchildren, Alaina Asper, Jace Asper, Creeden Asper and Kasey Asper.
