He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Speelman and Lola Speelman (Stotler); and his siblings, Robert, Rusty, Richard "Dick" Speelman, Evelyn V. Himes, Ethel Kauffman, Edith Trent, Hazel Ramos and Janet Roberts.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Reale (Troy) of Biglerville, Lola Lynn Speelman (Dan) of Bendersville and Robert S. (Lori Speelman) of Dover. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
