He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward E. Showers and Beulah J. Showers (Warner); and his siblings, Maybelle Starner, Grayson, Clyde, Mervin, Fred and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Louetta C. Showers (Pitzer); and his children, Kathy A. (Mike Smyers) of Gardners, Steven C. Showers of Gardners and Ricky R. (Beverly Showers) of Aspers. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
