He is survived by: his wife Barbara Riley Shapiro; his children, David Shapiro (Terri) of Manassas, VA and Heidi King of Gettysburg, PA; his stepson Philip Godinez (Andrea) of Hansville, WA; his grandchildren, Justin Vance, Kayla Brackett, Riley Brackett, Amias Godinez and Violette Godinez; and his brothers, Harold Shapiro and Stuart Shapiro.
