He was predeceased by: his parents, John Houser and Carrie Houser (Gilbert); his wife Mary Fetterman; his grandchildren, Seth, AJ and Alison; and his siblings-in-law, Robert May Sr. and Jane Fetterolf.
He is survived by: his children, James Houser Jr. (Annette) and Tara Houser; his brother Jack Houser; his grandchildren, Katelyn Houser, James Houser III (Chelsea), Amanda (Len) and Rebecca Houser; and his great grandchild Xavier Houser.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ United Lutheran Church (437 Airport Rd, Ashland, PA 17921). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests memorials be made to Christ's United Lutheran Church.
