With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Cecilia Sugrue (Ashland, Pennsylvania), born in Mahanoy City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 1, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Enoch Radzai-Glaudel and Florence Radzai-Glaudel; and her sister Rita Glaudel-Polli. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Joseph Sugrue; her children, Ann Johnson (Bruce) of Valley Lee, Maryland, Jack Sugrue, Cody Elkin of San Francisco, Robert, Teresa Sugrue (John) of Mahanoy City, William, Karen Sugrue (Klocek) of Mount Carmel and Susan Sanderlin (Russ) of West Deptford; and her grandchildren, Katie, Allison, Michael Johnson, Tierney, McKenzie Sugrue, Alexis, Shelby, Becca Moore and Emily Sugrue.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Irene's name to the American Heart Association.
