It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Daniel Godwin of Artemas, Pennsylvania, born in Takoma Park, Maryland, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Rae Tiller Godwin; and his siblings, Cynthia Godwin and James Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Carol Conrad Godwin; his daughter Grace Rae Stonestreet (Guy "Buck") of Flintstone, MD; his siblings, Trudy Godwin of Hanover, PA, Patrick Godwin of Virginia and Thomas Godwin of Red Line, PA; his grandchildren, Guy Eugene Stonestreet IV (Chasity) of Flintstone, Rebecca Rae Paxton (Josh) of Flintstone and Jennifer Carol Mackereth (Collin) of Flintstone; and his great grandchildren, Bailey, Sunnie, Joshua, Raelynn, Constance, Jeremiah and Sadie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
